Shard Capital appoints new Head of Operations
Shard Capital is pleased to announce the appointment of James Bushell as Head of Operations, effective immediately.
James brings 28 years of financial services experience having held roles with Walker Cripps, Lloyds Bank Stockbrokers, Brewin Dolphin and Fiske Plc, amongst others. James was previously Head of Operations & CASS at SVS Securities from 2018-2020 and was Head of Settlements prior to that, totalling 15 years of service.
Over the years James has gained invaluable experience in areas of operations within large and small stockbroking and asset management firms. He has been pivotal in maintaining, developing, planning and executing system implementations and operational processes.
James is based in Shard Capital’s London office, working closely with Martin Bradbrook, Chief Operating Officer. In his role he will be responsible for strategic planning, operational best practices, policies and implementing technology solutions.
